1 Peter 1:8 (NIV)
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
WORD:
This is the mystery of our faith as believers of Christ. Other religions have physical objects to which they believe and worship but for the Christian, your uniqueness is evident in the fact that your worship of God is a response to a call from God Himself. You believe because your conversion and conviction comes from a personal experience with God through His son Jesus. Your love for God comes from God Himself. The more you worship, the closer you get to His will and grace. The closer you get to God, the greater the joy of His presence. God made you and provided you with the ability to please Him. He has allowed you into His courts and filled your heart with praise. An experience like no other. Explore your faith this week. Seek to know Him deeper and see the goodness of His love.
PRAYER:
I love you Lord, with every fiber of my being. Show me thy glory and teach me the ways of peace, righteousness and love. Let my faith in you increase. In Jesus’ name I pray.
