WK 22 - More Than Our Weaknesses. He Is Always There.

Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

WORD:

Jesus walked the face of this earth as both God and Man. As God he revealed His Godliness to mankind and as man He brought man to the presence of God. To think that no one knows what you go through or feel your pain as a child of God would be robbing yourself from the knowledge that Christ actually empathizes with you. He is able to do that because he himself walked the face of this earth and experienced the very same temptations that we face today. Lust, Hunger, Greed, Anger and yet he stood tall. Men have the tendency to either dismiss our experiences or cancel our emotions due to our very innate weaknesses but Christ who has walked where you are walking now and felt what you might be feeling now has all the answers should you need it. Have a blessed week.

PRAYER:

In my weaknesses O Lord, I will learn to lean on you. In my challenges, I will trust in your outstretched arms because you know it all. In Jesus Name.
