Repentance, A Provision For Escape. It Keeps You Out Of Satan's Reach.

Psalm 41:4 (GNT)

I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

WORD:

What would you call someone who suddenly realized they were driving in the wrong direction and still kept driving for hours? Repentance is realizing you are going in the wrong direction and finding yourself back on the right track. Probably the greatest effect of sin is the accompanying guilt and shame. It prevents us from simply making that “U-Turn”. In as much as God may be disappointed, it drives us to a place of self criticism and we can’t simply rise up. This scripture is all you need to get back on track. God already knew you’d do it anyway. Just return.

PRAYER:

O Lord I am pleading, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. Restore and quicken my feet so I can reclaim all sunken grounds. Thank you for an answered prayer.
