Romans 13:8 (NIV)
Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
WORD:
With all of his law, he commands that we love God and man. The Love we have towards God is unique and on his terms, but for our fellow men, God wants us to only owe an eternal debt of Love because we can never repay the sacrifice on the cross which was due to his love. Your brother, friend is not your enemy. Please don’t be deceived. Love will always make a way where there’s no way. Don’t forget love is not Jesus’ name but it is God himself. Love trumps hate, fear, deceit, betrayal etc. Lionel Richie’s “God Is Love” depicts this best. You’ll never go wrong if it’s due to love.
PRAYER:
Teach us oh God to Love one another and to realize our love for one another is more important than our selfish needs and desires. In Jesus name I pray
