Isaiah 62:6-7
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
WORD:
This scripture clearly places the responsibility of restoration on the individual. God knows even before we ask and he’s willing to come to our aid. The process of asking may not simply be just utterance; and the Lord isn’t deaf as well. Jesus told his disciples that some accomplishments will only come through prayer and fasting. The persistent child though annoying, gets his wishes most of the time. We need to become watchmen on the walls who would neither sleep nor keep quiet but pester the Lord until he has fulfilled every promise made to us. The earth will sing your praise and that is your heritage. Claim it.
PRAYER:
Grant me the boldness to come before you and meekness to be humble. Do for me according to your word and let my heritage be made manifest.
