Romans 11:16 (NIV)
“If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.”
WORD:
There are many branches to a tree and all are not equal. As christians, and especially non-Jews, we are grafted branches to the main vine, we receive every nutritional nourishment from the root of the tree. Our God is Holy and is the root (source) from which we are sustained and when he gave us life, we received a pure and perfect life. The virtues of God (Holiness, righteousness, love, patience etc) are defaulted characteristic embossed into our very nature. The natural inclination of man gravitates towards God and we need him to remain relevant. You life is precious and an envy to the enemy.
PRAYER:
Grant me the grace to remain humble and connected to you O Lord. Let the nourishment of your holiness and the provision of life adorn my life.
