A Deceptive Point Of Reference.

Isaiah 65:17-19

“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.

WORD:

The only point of self reference we personally have is ourselves. We look to our present circumstances and the past but the truth is, they can’t determine the future. That is one unique part of our existence which God has hidden and it is for good reason come to think of it. Every new day in the sight of God is a new one for creation and the power to create is inside of you. The past is sometimes crippling based on what happened and the present is deceptive based on what’s happening: Shake them both off and look up. I pray that you determine what’s important and drive towards it with all you have. Fear Not.

PRAYER:

Your ways are just O Lord! Help me fly into my glorious future. You will roll away the shame of the past and deliver me from the fear of the present. In Jesus’ Name
