Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matt 5:4
WORD:
Mourning is mostly associated with death or loss. We experience death in our Christian walk when we feel alienated from the grace, life, and love of God mostly due to sin. We are all sinners by nature and must spend a great deal of time and effort to live right in the sight of God. Sometimes just obeying the law is not enough; we need a personal relationship with the father. Jesus states that we will be comforted by the Spirit and Word of God in the event that we fall short of the mark because your pain is his pain. May the Lord bless and comfort your heart in all things. Blessings!
PRAYER:
Comforter is who you are to me. In my distress and moments of self loss and death, come bring to my heart, peace and comfort so I may find solace and restoration. In Jesus' name I pray
