Rev. 1:8 (NIV)
“I am the first and the last,” says the Lord God Almighty, who is, who was, and who is to come.
WORD:
Jesus makes this emphatic claim and purports to simplify our options as far as worshipping him is concerned. By being the beginning and the end at the same time, our initial encounter with him defines the very end with him. He takes all the burden and the worry of going through a confused life and assures us of eternal life because he is the savior, was the architect and would come back to complete our translation into heaven. There is no other way but through Jesus. There is no other man but through Jesus. There is no other spirit, but the Holy Spirit of God. The Lord will reveal his nature to every believer. If you search, you will find him.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank you for being the beginning of our existence and the very end of it. You bear my burdens and roll away my sorrows. You define my life and make me live a victorious life. In Jesus Name.
