Matthew 19:30 (NLT)
But many who now are first will be last, and many who now are last will be first.
This statement by Jesus was more of a warning to the dangers of wealth and the greed to amass more than we are able to handle. God rewards hard work and those that sow will definitely reap a bountiful harvest. Actually the lazy man will go hungry and be at the mercy of others. Those who run ahead of everybody and get rich at the expense of others and reap people off to this end are to be mindful. This is not a deterrent to success or greatness but a reminder to pursue that which is just, true and holy. The key is balance and being led by the Spirit of God in all things. God’s blessings make us rich with no sorrow and he is capable of blessing you.
Father I pray that you lead my heart to desire that which is holy and acceptable in your will. Bless me with riches that will open great financial doors to me and make me a true ambassador of your word. In Jesus’ Name.
