Micah 7:8 (NIV)
Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise.Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

This text depicts a believer either in agony or in bondage. This experience is no different from what most Christians might experience regularly. But he digs deep to a place of faith knowing the exact capabilities of the Lord. He is sure that in no time, he will rise again from the fall because the Lord promises it. He knows Christ is the light of the world and when deliverance comes, it will do so with so much light his dark situation will give way. May your faith grow in these times. Hold on to his word.
PRAYER:
Bless my heart O Lord, and let my faith not waiver in the face of adversity, but that I will believe in the power and assurance of your word. In Jesus’ name I pray.
