Isaiah 66:1 (GNT)
The LORD says, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of
house, then, could you build for me, what kind of place for me to live in?
WORD:
God is infinite and not restricted by location. The magnificence of his redemption plan is the fact that he is dispersed into all hearts and we can all have a relationship with him. He asks this rhetorical question to suggest that no earthly house is big enough to contain the totality of God himself. The temple of God however is the dwelling place of the most high God and that temple is within man. The size of your church has absolutely nothing to do with the covenant of Grace and redemption. The purity and fertility of your heart will determine how much of God is contained in your body.
PRAYER:
I love you Lord for finding my heart worthy of your dwelling. Give me the wisdom to be vigilant and mindful of anything that contaminates my body. Come live within me eternally. In Jesus’ Name.
