1 John 5:4 (NIV)
“for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”
WORD:
All the stress and troubles, death, gossip, jealousy, sin are exclusive to this world. To subdue these things, we must overcome them and not ignore them. Jesus overcame the world and defeated Satan through the cross. Being born of God, we inherited his nature, power and dominion so we can equally overcome the world. God has blessed you with the ability to dwell on earth and not be fizzled by these things but defeat them and the world around you. Your faith is the key to victory-you have to believe you are born of God. Take your place and overcome.
PRAYER:
I pray that my faith increases with each passing day so I can overcome the things that easily beset me. Speak to my cause and insulate me from the world. In Jesus' name I pray.
