Isaiah 25:8 (NIV)
He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.
WORD:
This was a prophetic word declared by the Lord to his people. God in his theocracy, knew about the very nature and plight of mankind. With all the blessings and assurances, He knew there were going to be situations that would overwhelm and overcome you. The inability to obey God’s word and instructions is the foundation of sin in our lives. Here is God once again declaring His loving hand and power to swallow up the consequences of our wrong doing and restore us to a place of joy, peace and salvation. No man has the ability to forgive sins and your destiny is set by God, and He has cleansed you. Therefore the opinion of men would have no effect on your life. Make this week a personal encounter with the Lord and learn to depend on his words to you. He will speak, get ready to listen.
PRAYER:
Thank you Oh Lord for your redemptive love which redeems my soul everyday. I will love and depend on you forever. You have spoken and I believe. In Jesus Name I pray.
