And Yahweh said to Joshua, “Stretch out the sword that is in your hand to Ai. Because I will give it into your hand. “And Joshua stretched out the sword that was in his hand to the city.
WORD:
The city of AI had already defeated Joshua’s men in battle and were going to face them one more time. This was the third battle towards Canaan and the Lord gave specific instructions. Jehovah asked that Joshua’s sword be stretched out towards AI for victory. Your battle in today’s world would not be fought physically but spiritually and the difference would be what sword you use. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God and it’s the weapon of your warfare. Uphold his word, stock up on it, let your lips profess him at all times and victory will assuredly be yours.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord as we stake our claims through your word and strive to change our circumstances, I know my most daring and disappointed situations would work for my good. In Jesus’ name I pray.
