Nehemiah 8:10
“Nehemiah said, ‘Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength”
WORD:
Sin, Suffering, Reproach, Shame are not of God and rank below the threshold of grace. These are consequences resulting from our actions of which the enemy has seized and uses to torment God’s elect. Joy on the other hand is an active product of the spirit which comes from a place of Assurance, Hope, and Contentment. God’s joy rescues you from the negative(-) and slides you past the zero(0) and to the positives (+). Nehemiah knew this so he encouraged them to rejoice because they were in a place of God’s security which is a place of strength. Rejoice, you are God’s chosen one.!
PRAYER:
As I transition from the negatives to the positives, please let my heart not be troubled but that I may trust in all of you Oh Lord and receive your blessings of Joy Strength and Love. In Jesus’ name.
