John 14:27 (NIV)
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. “
WORD:
God’s peace is eternal and different from what we offer others. The opposite of peace is trouble and when we are troubled, it becomes a matter of the heart. Jesus left us with “peace” as an inheritance passed on to us because he knew we were going to need it at some point. All the issues you would face (good, bad, ugly) would flow out of the heart and he knew that there were going to be situations that would shake the foundations of our belief making us fearful. “Let not your heart be troubled, nor fearful”; he commanded. Find his Peace he already gave it to you.!
PRAYER:
Father, grant me the wisdom and strength to stand strong in the face of fear and torment. Take out of my life any wrong channels and protect my heart from fear. In Jesus name I pray.
