Genesis 1:3-4 (NIV)
And God said, “let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
WORD:
God introduced light (luminance) into an already existing darkness. This made it possible to separate the two and later on, he referred to us as children of light belonging to the day and not the night. As children of light we carry the source of light within us and can only shine because that’s what light does. Never underestimate the power of God working through you. Just your appearance in any and all situations will cause the dark elements to disappear. It is your duty to shine and to not shine will only bring you an unfulfilled life.
PRAYER:
Let my light shine O Lord, both in darkness and in the day. Let my brightness grow stronger and not dimmer.I pray In Jesus’ name.
