Luke 9:18 (NIV)
Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?”
WORD:
Jesus had been with his disciples and they had seen and witnessed of him physically. This question wasn’t the real focus of his intent but it led him to teach them and us that, the absence of the physical Jesus was just the beginning of the ushering process into the revealed Christ that was coming to live and reign eternally. It is crucial you define who Jesus is to you and what he stands for in your life. The revealed Christ who died on the cross still lives and very active in the affairs of men. He is a friend, brother, savior and will be any and all of these if you so desire. So my question to you today is, who do say Jesus is?
PRAYER:
Father I declare my love for you today and acknowledge the finished works of Jesus as your divine plan to bring me to righteousness and salvation. In Jesus name I pray.
