Matthew 5:5 (NIV)
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Matt 5:5
WORD:
Meek people are not easily provoked to anger; they patiently bear, carry themselves courteously, and affable to all; do not envy the gifts and graces of other men; are willing to be instructed and admonished, and quietly submit to the will of God. Jesus was meek even unto death to accomplish the mission before him and obtain the reward promised by the father. Meek people will own the earth because they’ll be like Christ and walk the face of this earth with authority and power and not be affected by the stressors of this life. Be like Christ, choose meekness, overcome the world.
PRAYER:
Father give me patience, love and grace to become meek. Let your presence guide me in all situations and teach me to hold my tongue so I only speak blessings. In Jesus name I pray.
