Let Your Suffering Count. Hold On, Look Up.

Romans 8:18

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

WORD:

The sufferings referenced here is three dimensional. Paul was in prison, the new Roman church was under Roman rule, and the struggles of new Christians converts who were now adjusting to the christian life. I’m sure in today’s world we can all find ourselves in any one of these categories. There is a kind of glory that is revealed when we go through our sufferings and still keep the faith remaining faithful and obedient. God is a rewarder and a promoter of his children. May the Lord reveal his Glory as you dwell and strive towards obedience and supplication.

PRAYER:

Let thy Glory O Lord, be the hope driving me through your will into your kingdom. Let me not grow weary of standing and fighting till the end. In Jesus’ name I pray.
