Psalm 23:2-3 (NIV)
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
WORD:
There are three things of utmost importance for a flock of sheep. Green Pasture to feed, Water to drink and leadership through guidance and protection. We Christians are likened to sheep and in like manner, require the same to dwell on the earth. The Lord is our shepherd and will supply all our needs and provide warmth when you’re cold. He’s ready to fight, to carry you and set you apart for his glory. Above everything, the prosperity and preservation of your soul is paramount to him. Let him in and please learn to hear the voice of the shepherd.
PRAYER:
Shepherd of my soul, come lead me through this narrow life and become my Jehovah Jireh. Thank you for your loving outstretched arms, I give you praise in Jesus name I pray.
