Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

I am absolutely sure we have all heard friendship quotes and have self-made opinions about who a true friend is. The truth is this, you can be a better friend to your friend. It cuts both ways. This scripture is for you not your friend. Become a friend who loves at all times and stands by his friend in the darkest moments. Brother in this sense is not necessarily biological but tells of the place you occupy in someone’s heart and life. Jesus is both a friend and a brother and he showed us how to live and love. Let your actions earn you the place of brotherhood. Love reigns.!
