Romans 8:1 (NIV)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
WORD:
This scripture confirms our redeeming by Jesus. The hen covers her chicks with her wings and as long as they remain there, they are protected from the prey. If we are in (buried) Christ Jesus and allow his Spirit to lead and guide us, he will take the heat and we will have no blemish despite our innate sinful nature. The key issue here is not to walk according to the impulses of the flesh but make a conscious attempt to self identify the things (vices) that let us down and walk away from them. Remain under his wings and there’ll be no condemnation of life.
PRAYER:
As we strive to live according to your dictates and will, let our experiences teach us righteous lessons and we ask for strength and a strong will to stump out that which will cause us to drift from your presence. In Jesus' name.
