Matthew 5:3 (NIV)
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
This scripture has nothing to do with the money in our bank accounts. However, when a person experiences lack, they are willing to do what it takes to have a better life of abundance. Poverty in the spirit is a place of hunger where we desire more of heavenly treasures (grace, glory, love etc…) so we can align with God’s divine plan for our lives and fill that spiritual void. We come like children with an attitude of humility and trusting the commands and rules of the kingdom. We become true sons of God and become rightful heirs to the kingdom of heaven. Shalom!
Father I desire more of you and your heavenly treasures. Let your grace abound in my life and let peace, mercy, and holiness encompass my dwelling in Jesus' name i pray. .
