Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be, afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
WORD:
Children have an unconditional trust of their parents (all things being equal). We grow up listening and adhering to directions and admonishing. No matter how old you are, you’ll always be someone’s child. We are God’s Children, therefore we must always look up to God in all things. He is with you no matter the situation and yes even through sin which takes away your confidence and in turn alienates us from him. No matter who stands before you, just know and remember that heaven is behind you so you can’t be afraid. The Lion of Judah is your shield and protector.
PRAYER:
Help me O Lord, to realize each day that you are a God of love and will be with me no matter what. I confront fear in your name and declare good courage. In Jesus name I pray.
