The enemies of Israel succeeded in halting the rebuilding of the temple but God intervened through the prophets Haggai and Zechariah. In a quest to impose a second round of sanctions, they guided King Darius into the archives and he found records of the original order and he gave a series of commands including this one. The wealth of their enemies was used to complete the temple. Don’t panic when your enemies raise accusations and plot to bring you down. Your God, will turn what they meant for evil into a blessing of favor for your sake. God will cause them to bless you without them knowing. They will sow and you will reap.
PRAYER:
O Lord, let my accusations be turned into affirmations and let those who seek to hinder my progress become the springboards to my elevation. Let them live to witness your will for my life. In Jesus' Name.
