Rise Above The Darkness. God's Not Given Up Yet.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

WORD:

First of all God has a plan for everyone and he cheers us on so we can accomplish our purpose. As his chosen people we must represent him in this world of which we are salt and light, and there are people seeking our downfall. We have habits, tastes, desires and thought processes that cause us to sin repeatedly, we must watch and study these things so we know when to flee and when to pray. To run a good race, we need to be free and not have any entanglements. This only slows us down and prevents a good race. God’s not given up yet!

PRAYER:

Spirit of God, prompt me to know when temptation encroaches on my door steps so I can flee from those which easily besets me. Open my eyes to your will for my life. In Jesus’ name I pray.
