Genesis 4:4
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
WORD:
Cain and Abel were the first recorded human offspring of creation. They were set up to ensure the sustenance of the family by way of their unique professions. Cain the elder brother decided to offer to God but his sacrifice came from a place of mediocrity and God rejected his offering. God gave us everything we have. He made the earth and we are like tenants living in a rented property. You are worthy of God’s respect and confidence and the events to accelerate your blessings are in your hands. Respecting God and serving him with respect and reverence is the beginning of wonders in your blessed life.
PRAYER:
Forgive me O Lord for the many occasions I have not honored you from my heart. I repent from my deeds and beg of you to bless my hands and restore me to your grace. In Jesus’ name.
