1 Corinthians 16:8-9 (NIV)
But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
WORD:
Paul being the strategist he was, saw an opening to share the Gospel of Jesus, because the day of Pentecost was approaching and Jerusalem was going to be flooded with people. He also identified that, despite the hope of victory, there were adversaries who were possibly going to either oppose him or arrest him. Even as chosen children of God we should be prepared to encounter some challenges in our walk with God. The price we pay (Sacrifice) for our faith, can determine our level of satisfaction. Obedience, patience, and faithfulness are some of the things we can give to God. I declare victory over your adversaries.
PRAYER:
Help me O Lord to gain victory over my adversaries this week. Let me walk in your will for my life, availing myself to be used as a vessel of honor.
