Touch Gods' Heart: Be Vulnerable.

TEXT: Matthew 6:6 (NIV)

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

WORD:

This scripture implicitly offers us insight into becoming effective with our prayer life. The main key here is to be honest and genuine when we pray. Whether you speak, think, mumble, meditate, the Lord will see and hear you. God is looking into our hearts and thoughts not merely what proceeds out of our mouths. God wants you to focus on him and pray from your heart not to impress anybody standing around or judging you. God is not limited to geographic locations so you can pray everywhere. As you pray, the Spirit will lead you in all truths.

PRAYER:

Help me oh Lord to get rid of my pride so I can walk in your directions. I pray that you judge the contents of my heart and not my lips. In Jesus name I pray.
