Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to our bones.

The words that proceed out of our mouths are like seeds that will grow no matter what. The mind is like a fertile ground and will process any seed that is planted into it. Farmers go to the field with good seeds because they want a healthy and bountiful harvest. Likewise, ungracious or bad seeds can be planted and the outcome will be weeds or thorns which will destroy the good crops. You can save a life, restore hope, bring peace, cultivate joy, build nations, fight the enemy with the power of your words. Try it.

Please help me O Lord to always remember the value of life so I can learn to uplift others no matter the hurt and pain inside my heart. Be light to my ways and all I do, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
