Psalm 55:19 (GNT)
God, who has ruled forever, will hear me and humble them. For my enemies refuse to change their ways; they do not fear God.
WORD:
We have a God who is a friend, savior, and a judge. God’s word encourages us to be humble because humility will drive away pride which is not of God. When God decides to humble a man, the consequences are grave. Consider Cain, Moses, David, Samson, King Hezekiah, Eli the high priest; these were special people but God humbled them at some point.. His grace and mercy holds us and he beckons us unto repentance. But those who are stuck in their ways, he resists.
PRAYER:
Father, I pray that you hear and grant me the fortitude to stay humble and be obedient to your instructions. Never let me fall out of your way.Lead me always and have mercy on me. In Jesus’ name.
