Ephesians 4:24 (NIV)
And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
WORD:
Some plants, birds and animals would shed either leaves, feathers or skin during certain times of the year and regrow or take on new skin. This is like a reset to the original. We humans have been gracefully given that ability to return or reset our ways to bear God’s nature and likeness which is righteousness and holiness. As God’s chosen people, there’s the need to self-reflect on our lives and repent daily so we can walk as newly created men equipped with power in our lips, stronger wings to fly and the assurance of walking in our inherited glory. Know who you are, walk in power.
PRAYER:
I pray O God, that you teach and remind me through your Spirit to sense and detect what is wrong from afar, and forgive all my trespasses so I may bear your true likeness. In Jesus. name I pray.
