Joshua 11:23 (GNT)
So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
WORD:
God made a promise to Israel to bring them into their promised land. Moses died in the process, Akan’s family was stoned and burnt to death, God hardened the enemies so they could be destroyed. The Anaks were destroyed, Kings and kingdoms were annihilated and finally God brings them to a place of rest. It is not his will for us to fight forever. Actually we wage war so we can have peace and rest. God’s power is shown through war but his love is made manifest during peace and rest. It’s time for you to enter into your rest. There’s peace coming your way. May you enter his rest this week.
PRAYER:
Your love O Lord, rages through the heavens and the earth. Your promises are worth hanging on to. Lead me into your everlasting rest so I can experience your eternal love. In Jesus’ Name.
